It is with great sadness that the choir announces the death of Mary Adams. Mary passed away on Thursday 13th June after a long illness. Mary was a dedicated and hard working member of the choir. Mary was also Chair of the choir until ill health meant that she had to stand down, from the post, at our AGM in March. Mary contined as our Deputy Chair and continued to sing with us till just a few weeks ago, when ill health meant that she could no longer attend.
Mary loved choral music and had been a member of a number of choirs over the years. She had a beautiful soprano voice. She will be sadley missed by all involved with Newport Philharmonice Choir. Our condolences go our to her husband Phil, at this sad time.
